In 2013, Jas Singh identified a gap in the recruitment and executive search market for actuaries like himself. Because actuarial work is highly specialised, he was often disappointed when he worked with traditional recruiters. There were no thought leaders in the actuarial space, while recruiters found it hard to grasp the nuances of actuarial roles and to assess candidates effectively.
In launching SKL Actuarial, Jas – together with his co-founders – knew his actuarial knowledge and experience, recruitment capability, and personal ethics would be supporting a unique actuarial recruitment and search firm.
His vision is to ensure SKL Actuarial remains a powerful brand in the actuarial and broader analytics recruitment market, across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
