Combining her technical background with recruitment consulting experience, Aliza loves the impact she can make every day by driving her clients down the path to success. Placing her client relationships above all else, she not only provides both exceptional service, but offers the in-depth technical insight needed to successfully recruit actuaries.
Before entering actuarial recruitment, Aliza sat on the other side of the table – as a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 8 years’ experience in corporate advisory consulting. She found her natural home in actuarial recruiting, however, because of its greater focus on people. She is also aware that her early career as a finance professional enriches the valuable common ground she quickly establishes, both with clients and with candidates.
Aliza is a committed, successful actuarial recruiter with a strong focus on middle management roles for nearly and newly qualified actuaries, actuarial managers, and senior actuaries. She partners with leading businesses to source, assess, and secure actuarial talent, working across the life insurance, general insurance, and superannuation/investments markets.
She aims to develop an in-depth understanding of the drivers, needs and interests of her clients and candidates starting from the very first conversation. She builds strong, successful relationships as a trusted adviser, aiming to secure repeat business from everyone with whom she engages.
Aliza’s clients can rely on her to provide insightful market intelligence, information on candidate movements, and updates on the candidates she places. She is passionate about optimising talent and achieving the best possible cultural and team fit in every assignment. Aliza won’t give up until she finds not only the best candidate, but the right candidate for you.
When she isn’t building relationships with her clients and candidates, you’ll find Aliza honing her martial arts techniques, keeping fit, or playing the piano or cello.
