Great role working in a small team alongside the Chief Actuary.
Predominantly the work involves:
Assisting with end of year valuation and supporting the business’ reserving process to ensure relevant statutory reporting and frameworks are met which includes data preparation, reporting and performance monitoring reviews of assumptions.
Other duties will include assisting on capital management procedures and other projects as required.
FIAA or well on the way to achieving this
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a reserving role preferred
Understanding of Australian general insurance standards and products advantageous
Strong programming and technical skills (SAS, SQL, VBA, Excel)
Keen business acumen and work ethic
Good communication skills as you’ll be presenting to relevant stakeholders
