Be the first in-house actuary in the Australian business of our client who is an established provider of world-class insurance products and a leader in specialist risk insurance.
About The Role
Your initial project will be to work with the overseas head office IFRS17 team and take ownership of the local responsibilities required for IFRS17 implementation and knowledge development
Perform modelling gap analysis and draft PAA eligibility methodologies and processes
Design appropriate PAA & GMM valuation methodologies suitable to particular products
On an ongoing basis you will perform financial impact assessments necessary for growing business lines in the company and communicate it to relevant stakeholders and senior level executives
FIAA or equivalent (minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience)
Solid experience in IFRS17 and APRA capital reporting advantageous
Strong IT and technical skills (MS Office skills)
Sound project management skills
Proven stakeholder management skills as you’ll be working closely with the senior management of the Australian business.
